If you would like to make a video request you can do so here. I cannot promise to create one but I will look into it. In order to fulfill a request I need to:
Like the song.
Be able to sing it.
Be able to technically create a video for it.
Please do not be offended if I am unable to fulfill your request, I get quite a few every day and can only create 1 video per week so can’t possibly create them all.
Each video lesson I create takes on average 6 hours to produce. If you have found them useful please consider making a small donation via the PayPal or gofundme buttons below.
Thank you for your support. Best wishes. Alan (Guitar Tutor Man).
I love your videos! Very helpful as I just started learning the guitar. I would really love if you could do another CCR song – Looking out my back door. it’s a really fun song to sing, but i’m having a lot of trouble with the strumming for it (especially the muted intro). Looking forward to it if you have the time!
Hi Alan. I’m subscribed to a few YouTube guitar tutors, however, I find your tutorials by far the easiest and least overcomplicated to follow.
I’ve been trying to find a tutorial for the ABBA song, Lay All Your Love On Me, which I would love to learn as it has a special meaning for me and would also be a great song with a distinctive sound that would sound fantastic on an acoustic guitar.
I would absolutely love it if you could please consider doing this.
Hi Alan! Thanks for the great tutorials over the years – I wanted to request a lesson on Babies by Pulp. Or really any additional Pulp songs you have in your repertoire! There’s a surprisingly small amount of tutorials on their great discography on youtube, and your video on Something Changed is one of my favorites! There’s some great acoustic versions of Babies by Jarvis on the web, and I’ve always been keen to learn how to play it.
Hi.
I started playing the guitar not long ago and your videos and sheets have been really helpful and fun to play. I really enjoy playing the songs.
Maybe you could do some songs from Imagine Dragons? Really any song written by them would be amazing.
Thank you!

Hi! I love your videos. I’ve learned so much from you, thank you!
I’d love to see some ABBA songs in the list. Dancing queen, winner takes it all, voulez vous… the one you prefer.
I have only just come across your website and I really like it. I have been plugging away for years and not getting very far and your website helps a lot. I particularly like the simplicity of it. Learnt a couple of songs already and will keep adding.
One song I am wondering if you could put up is “When the Roses Bloom Again: Billy Bragg and Wilco. Great ballad that tugs at the heart strings.
Hi Alan, if possible can you please make a tutorial on ‘Let There Be Love’ by Oasis. This is one of my favourite songs and I am new to guitar and would like to learn it..
Hi Alan
Do you have any of John Prine’s songs? Advanced beginner, please?
“Paradise”
“Egg and Daughter Nite, Lincoln Nebraska, 1967 (Crazy Bone)”
Thanks so much!
Peter
Hi Alan,
Your tutorials are wonderful. I have used several to sing with the elderly who enjoyed the old songs when they were not allowed out of their room during the pandemic.
The song I had in mind is: If I Can Dream (Elvis). I have tried on my own but it is a challenging song.
Hi Alan,
I’m learning guitar since beginning of this year and I stumbled on to your YouTube channel and I just love the way you make videos. Thank you so much.
Few song I would love tutorials for are:
Hey You, High Hopes, Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 3 – Pink Floyd
Still Loving You, Rock You Like A Hurricane, Wind Of Change – Scorpions
Somebody To Love – Jefferson Airplane
Poison – Alice Cooper
We didn’t Start The Fire – Billy Joel
Sympathy For The Devil – Rolling Stones
Sweet Dreams – Eurythmic
Living On My Own – Freddie Mercury
Ring Of Fire – Johnny Cash
Fly Away – Lenny Kravitz
Hello, Alan, your videos are wonderful. If by any chance you could do a video for “I Won’t Share You” by The Smiths, I’d love to see/hear it. Take care.
Please make a toturial for the song:
Big Star – Thirteen
It’s a great classic guitar song , with a lack of a good toturials.
And also a great song!
I hope you will find time and will to do so
Thanks in advanced
