Requests

Hi there!

If you would like to make a video request you can do so here. I cannot promise to create one but I will look into it. In order to fulfill a request I need to:

  1. Like the song.
  2. Be able to sing it.
  3. Be able to technically create a video for it.

Please do not be offended if I am unable to fulfill your request, I get quite a few every day and can only create 1 video per week so can’t possibly create them all.

Each video lesson I create takes on average 6 hours to produce. If you have found them useful please consider making a small donation via the PayPal or gofundme buttons below.

Thank you for your support. Best wishes. Alan (Guitar Tutor Man).

I love your videos! Very helpful as I just started learning the guitar. I would really love if you could do another CCR song – Looking out my back door. it’s a really fun song to sing, but i’m having a lot of trouble with the strumming for it (especially the muted intro). Looking forward to it if you have the time!

Hi Alan. I’m subscribed to a few YouTube guitar tutors, however, I find your tutorials by far the easiest and least overcomplicated to follow.

I’ve been trying to find a tutorial for the ABBA song, Lay All Your Love On Me, which I would love to learn as it has a special meaning for me and would also be a great song with a distinctive sound that would sound fantastic on an acoustic guitar.

I would absolutely love it if you could please consider doing this.

    Many thanks,

    Mark

Hi Alan! Thanks for the great tutorials over the years – I wanted to request a lesson on Babies by Pulp. Or really any additional Pulp songs you have in your repertoire! There’s a surprisingly small amount of tutorials on their great discography on youtube, and your video on Something Changed is one of my favorites! There’s some great acoustic versions of Babies by Jarvis on the web, and I’ve always been keen to learn how to play it.

    Cheers!

Hy I´m four years older than you. I learn to paly guitar like you do. And there was a time, I said I finished forever to play guitar. I sold my Fender Strat. my Gibson SG and so on, my Marshall tube amp. When my sons grow up, one of them begins to play guitar an d the other drums. So I started again to play guitar. I played in bands, with my sons and now I only play alone. I can play what I want´and I like the same music like you and I play ist also.
You say it right, in many tutoriuals they babbales an babbles and play one or two riffs. The rest ist babble, then I wonder about the klicks.
    Your doing it absolutly right.
I like it to look to your youtubes.
In this Band is my son Benny rummer.
Happy the guitar player ist very good guitar player and we are goodf friends. He has a little Guitar-Shop.

Lots going on, on it. I would think its great for acoustic.

  48. Frasro says:

Hey Alan love your vids! Can i possibly request hark the hearld for upcoming Christmas? Thank you very much. Bless your soul for such kind works!

  49. Sam says:

    Dear Sir Awesomeness,

I have never made a request because you already cover so much and excellently. I simply find whatever I want or something better in your selection.

Today I had the piano part of Phil Collins’ song “Do You Remember” and looked up how it is played on Piano. Then I wondered, what if it is played on guitar? And no one apt for the task of not only playing it beautifully but also presenting in an understandable manner as no others can (more than 15 years I believe I have found no competition to you, and all I have recommended you to simply agree).

Just a consideration, if you will. I understand it takes a ton of work to present each and every one of these videos and also that you already have projects on deck. Just a thought, from a sunny breezy mild and peaceful afternoon in Virginia, to you.

You simply are a blessing to all of us, thank you forever.
    Sam
